Expressions of Sympathy and Expressions of Affection


Deskripsi:
The students are able to use the expressions of sympathy and the expressions of affection in the right context. The students will have to work in pair. They should practice the dialogue presented. They should also be able to make their own dialogue with their pair.

Kompetensi Dasar: 
1.      Siswa dapat menyebutkan ungkapan simpati dan ungkapan sayang dalam konteks yang baik dan benar.
2.      Siswa dapat menggunakan ungkapan simpati dan ungkapan sayang dalam konteks yang baik dan benar.

·      Menanyakan bagaimana para siswa mengungkapkan rasa simpati mereka terhadap sesuatu.
·      Menanyakan bagaimana para siswa mengungkapkan rasa sayang/rasa peduli mereka terhadap sesuatu.

Eka asks her boss to have a few days off because her father has passed away.
Eka                  :  Excuse me, Sir.
Mr Andrew     :  What can I do for you, Eka?
Eka                  :  Well, I’m afraid I cannot finish my job at the moment, Sir.
Mr Andrew     :  Are you serious? We need to finish this project right away.
Eka                  :  I know that Sir, but I have just received a call from my mother telling me that my father has passed away.­
Mr Andrew     :  Oh, I’m ­                          . You have my sincere ­­­­­­­­­                         . Take all the time you need. Don’t worry about this project. I’ll take ­                        .
Eka                  :  Thank you, Sir.
